Other information:

The park opened in October 2000.  POOCH originated and maintained the park in cooperation with Sunrise Recreation and Park District.  

The park is over three acres and offers lots of area for dogs to run.   Benches and chairs are available in the sun or in the shade.  Drinking water for pets and people is also available.

Dogs must be on leash to enter and leave the park.  Owners are responsible for the behavior of their pets and for picking up after them.  Bags are provided.

Dogs who run and socialize with other dogs and people are better behaved and healthier than those restricted to home or a back yard.

The park is open every day throughout the year from dawn to dusk.
