I really want to thank you for the 2 rescue articles on page 3.  On Tuesday I brought a very shy but loving girl home from SPCA where she had been for a month.  I don't know what has happened to her, but her family had dumped her there and she wanted to go home.  Well slowly my house is becoming home now.  She is very afraid of people and especially children, but likes dogs and is not afraid of them.  Yesterday she went to the park for the first time and seemed quite happy.  I think she has a better start than poor Suzie, but it is similar.  The poem really touched my heart, because if she feels the way I think she does it sure fits.

I lost my Andy (the bark less Sheltie) in March to cancer and I still miss him terribly, but look forward with a new loving buddies and summer evenings at C bar C with Daphne.

Thanks again for the perfectly timed articles.

Subject: Thank you

Hi,

Today was my (our )first visit to your park. At first I was a little scared

about having my dog  off of his leash around so many dogs.

He is a little Lhasa Apso, and I was a little nervous as there

were some big dogs around.

It turned out to be the best experience for us both.

We both made new friends.

I learned even the largest of dogs can be the most gentle

 around others.

I was very happy to have found such a wonderful place .

I am going to tell all

my friends about your park to let them know they are in for a treat.

We can't wait to go back.

  Thank you !
